The Drapery Collection

Made to order. Each drape in "The Drapery Collection" comes lined and interlined (except for sheers) with your choice of decorative heading. You may choose from various set lengths or customize the length to your specific window size. Our drapery panels are priced by the width and are sold in single widths or multiple widths depending on your needs.

Kincaid. This collection of silk duppioni is will dress up a casual space or gracefully complement a more formal setting.

Decorative Headings. Since all of our Draperies and Curtains are made to order, you may customize your curtain to match your style. We have seven decorative headings to choose from. The Alexandria and Coronation headings are original headings by William West.

Anatomy of a Well Appointed Drapery. To achieve the best effect, draperies are best when interlined and lined. We apply the old-fashioned method of lining and interlining curtains that has never been surpassed for creating the perfect curtain. The finest lining and interlining materias are usedl to give our curtains a rich depth and deep folds that hang beautifully.

Lining. For lining material, a pure cotton sateen is preferred.

Interlining. Medium-weight interlining is the best for almost all curtain materials, including chintzes, linens, damasks and silks.

Bottom Hem. We use 8 inches of fabric in our bottom hems. This makes for a beautiful clean hemline.

Side Hems. Our side hems are double folded and blind hemmed into place giving the drape a rich leading edge.

Drapery Headings. All of our headings are hand worked.

Corners. The bottom and top corners of our draperies are all hand-sewn.

Ansonbourough. Beautiful, crisp and clean. Our silk plaid drapery comes in a variety of finished lengths.

Checks and Balances. Balance is good for any well-dressed room and a little check will add the perfect finishing touch. Take our Blake Curtains. Rich-hued silk is woven into a sumptuous check taffeta. Our curtain comes interlined and lined, with your choice of decorative heading.
