Song: Somday Album: Another Place In Time

20 Recordings from 2000 to 2003
Album:Miracle in the Rain

Someday

"Someday" visits the nostalgic feel of movie soundtracks of the fifties and sixties. The song was written to the phrase "Someday you will find the love you are looking for." Though as the song progressed, I lacked inspiration in the lyric department and settled for an instrumental version instead. This is version of "Someday" uses fewer instruments than "Someday (Reprise)"

"Someday" was written throughout July 2003 and recorded August 2, 2003

Orchestra
1st Violins (12 Violins)
Cellos (8 Cellos)
Shakuhachi* (Japanese Shakuhachi Bamboo Flute)

*The shakuhachi came to Japan from China in the 12th century AD. Although it has long since disappeared from China, the instrument has rooted itself in over eight centuries of Japanese tradition, today playing a vital role in Japanese culture.
